During the concept design phase we collaborate with you to explore the possibilities for the site. We use diagrams, plans and sketches to show what is possible. The use of precedent images at this stage is essential to convey the look and feel. We also provide an initial indication of probable costs of works and indicate the likely timeframe for the project.
Our design process is a dialogue, inviting your insights and blending them with our expertise to craft spaces that resonate on multiple levels.

We make changes to the concept design based on your feedback and test any other ideas we discuss together. Drawings such as plans, sections, elevations + 3D views convey the materiality and form.

We review all relevant Planning Controls and prepare a detailed Development Application or Complying Development Certificate package. We co-ordinate all appropriate consultants and lodge the application via the planning portal for council or certifier approval.

To translate the concept into reality, we prepare comprehensive and precise construction drawings. These include detailed specifications for finishes, materials, fixtures, joinery, and other design elements. This level of detail ensures seamless communication with builders, contractors, and suppliers, enabling the execution of the design with accuracy and efficiency.

The interior design concept is thoughtfully crafted through a collaborative process that begins with mood boards, inspirational imagery, and design references to establish the overall aesthetic direction. We further refine this vision by incorporating detailed elevations and 3D renderings, providing a realistic representation of the space and ensuring the design aligns with the client’s vision.

We prepare a tender package for a selection of builders to price from. We select trusted builders we feel are suitable to the project. The detailed tender package ensures you are comparing apples with apples!

We administer and oversee a range of building contracts. The contract is between the builder and client and we administrate the contract for both parties. We prepare the building contract and provide on site administration of this contract during construction.
We are on site working with the builder to ensure the original design intent is followed through. This means reviewing shop drawings, colour samples and setouts.

During the defects liability period, we inspect the completed works, identify any defects, and instruct the contractor on necessary rectifications. If issues remain unresolved, we advise the client and coordinate alternative solutions if required. Once all work meets contractual standards, we conduct a final assessment and issue the Final Certificate, formally closing the project.
